San Diego Burial at Sea has several pricing options to satisfy the needs of our clients. We strive to make it an affordable option to all.
Unattended Burial at Sea Shore Viewing Burial at Sea
7 person - $640 8 person - $680 9 person - $720 10 person - $760 11 person - $800 12 person - $840 For a firm quote please call us as we would be happy to work with you.
Included: Legal documentation, memorial certificate, soft drinks, water, rose petals.
Note: Please add an additional 13% levied by the Port of San Diego on the smaller groups of 12 people and less. For larger groups the Port fee is included.

Payment Policies
We require a 50% charter deposit with the rest due when you
take your charter. We accept Visa and masterCard, checks and cash. Your credit card serves as a damage deposit, so remember, you are responsible for the conduct of your guests.
Cancellation Policy
By canceling 15 days before your scheduled charter you incur no penalty. Canceling less than 15 days in advance will cause you to incur a penalty of 50% of the yacht charter rate. Canceling the day of the scheduled charter you will forfeit 100% of your charter fee.
Gratuities/Tipping the Crew
In most service industries gratuities are appreciated, but we do not include them in your charter price.. If you enjoy your charter please show the crew your appreciation, they will be grateful.
Departure Points
We are located at "Shelter Cove Marina" on the east side of Shelter Island and usually depart from there for smaller groups - up to 12 people. For larger groups our other yacht is located at H&M Landing. For directions to either yacht, please see the contact us page.
We can depart from other locations as well, but most hotels charge a docking fee ($100-$200). We will also need to charge you a remote fee travel time of $100 - $200/hr
Rain/Storm Policy
This is San Diego, so having to cancel because of bad weather is very rare. The yacht is enclosed, so you will have a great charter even in the event of not perfect conditions. If raining, however, you many cancel. In the case of storm conditions it may not be appropriate to go on the water and we may have to cancel.
In either case you have the option of rescheduling or getting a complete refund
If your event was to be catered the caterer will deliver food to your desired location.
